My First Lab Duo-Scope Microscope

My First Lab Duo-Scope Microscope is a great and very affordable introductory-level microscope with real glass lenses for young kids age 10 and up. Durable light-weight construction.

This duo-scope instrument is illuminated with dual LED lights which provides ample examination light even on cloudy days and at nights. Note: the upper and lower LEDs cannot be turned on at the same time. You have to select one depending on the opaqueness of your specimen.

An ideal magnification tool to examine leaves and plants, bugs and insects, stamps, hair and filaments, liquids, newsprint, photographs, and a thousand other things that kids will enjoy spending hours with.

This small and attractive yet powerful microscope offers three levels of magnification at 40x, 100x and 400x. It is operated with 3 AA-size batteries (thus does not need any pesky power cord) and comes with a 6 hole disk diaphragm for optimal viewing under a variety of different light conditions. The batteries are not included.
